Oakland, California based instrumental heavy fusion duo Sludgebucket premiere a brand new single »Feral« following »Abyssmal«, released in March 2026.

»Feral« is an instrumental about mankind’s reversion to their baser instincts. A tendency to revert back to primal nature. Cover art by Heirlooms.

»Abyssmal« was recorded live in the studio with no overdubs. It is a play on the words Abyss and Abysmal, combined to create a new word, »Abyssmal«. Sludgebucket is a heavy fusion instrumental duo, consisting of Kelly Waldrip (bass) and Marc Kaufman (drums). Formed in Oakland in 2004 by Kelly Waldrip with the idea of meshing multiple styles such as psychedelic, progressive, doom, and stoner metal.
