Umbral Veil is a two-piece death/doom metal band reigning from Calgary, Alberta (Canada). Featuring current and former members of Kings Rot, Vaaltovashe, Cultist and Angrboða.

Dive into a dark, dense, and oppressive abyss, and journey through a ceremonial landscape filled with haunting death doom melancholy. Umbral Veil makes its debut with this impressive and solid EP.

Umbral Veil’s debut EP, released on July 2, 2026, is clocking in at 28 minutes across 4 tracks and features cavernous riffs, aggressive gutturals, and atmospheric synths.
