Halifax, Canada based instrumental stoner/post-rock trio Burdened (feat. Earth Altar’s Jon MacIsaac) premiere their debut album, »La Petite Mort«, scheduled for release today, April 20th, 2026.

Burdened is a three-piece heavy instrumental stoner/post-rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band is known for their atmospheric, slow-building sound that blends heavy riffs with cinematic textures.

The trio notably features Jon MacIsaac, a prominent figure in the Halifax heavy music scene who also performs with bands like Earth Altar and Kilmore.
