Vancouver, Canada based progressive doom metal trio Eye Of Doom is streaming the new single »Eye Of Doom Part I« taken from their upcoming album, »The Sapient«, which will be released this Autumn via Majestic Mountain Records.

»Eye Of Doom Part I« draws lyrically from science fiction horror themes to narrate the demise of a lone space-dweller. While traversing the now colonized, yet mysteriously desolate planet Venus, our protagonist experiences an array of extreme physical and mental obstacles akin to the human condition. He perseveres through this hardship and, upon contacting a long-lost comrade, is met with a horrific surprise. The story is concluded in »Eye Of Doom Part II«, which appears on »The Sapient«.

Summoned from the forests of Vancouver, British Columbia, Eye Of Doom is a doom metal band who infuses progressive rock soundscapes with psychedelic notes from outer space.
