Obad-Hai is a three-piece progressive doom metal band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Amidst the muck and slime, Obad Hai emerges to conquer all with sludge-filled tracks.

Inspired by the work of progressive metal bands in the 90’s, Obad-Hai has aimed to focus on live-recorded instrumentation and limiting reliance on modern digital methods for album production. The music style itself aims to provide a progressive sound blurring the lines between various metal genres.
