Star Beast gets its name from the fictional luck-dragon “Falkor,” from the 80s classic kids movie, The Neverending Story. Like the luck-dragon, their riffs are both heavily fuzzed out, and bookended in dreamy soundscapes.

Star Beast is a psych/stoner/doom band forged in the flames of pandemic era Toronto, Canada. Began initially as a covid-fun project, it sparked immediate reaction from those who worship the riff. Now fully formed, Star Beast flies over Canada as an escape valve for the disenchanted. If you love monstrous riffs, fuzzed-out tones and dreamy soundscapes, then buckle up. The “Beast” from the stars has arrived.
