Ottawa, Ontario based psychedelic doom/sludge/post-metal duo Mechwar shares a brand new single »Love Comes With A Knife«, released on September 1st, 2026.

Canadian two-piece post-metal band Mechwar has released its latest track, »Love Comes With A Knife«, a staggering 11-and-a-half-minute epic that solidifies the project’s reputation for delivering heavy, low-and-slow distorted grooves.

Mechwar is widely recognized for a signature sound that channels a stripped-back, menacing atmosphere. Moving away from a hyper-focus on traditional metal riffs, the project is driven by prominent, aggressive bass lines, harsh, gritty vocals, and an unpolished production style.
