Do you ever have that feeling that something bad is about to happen, but you don’t know what? Inspired by the paradoxical oppressiveness of growing up in the empty prairies, Edmonton, Alberta outfit NULL/VØID, create impressionist paintings with sounds, utilizing a wash of fuzzy soundscapes to explore their own brand of dreamy nihilism.

“With their new EP, »Broken Hearted Restless Sleeping«, NULL/VØID again present us with a collection fuzzy, dreamy, riff heavy songs, that are difficult to pigeon hole. In equal parts introspective and paranoid, they drift across genres the way they dance across their pedalboards, delivering a huge sound that owes just as much to Kafka as it does to Big Muff or SuperFuzz.”
