Since their self-titled debut 10 years ago, Vancouver’s Waingro have moved from strength to strength, honing their brutal mix of hardcore, sludge, and rock ‘n roll on each subsequent album. Enter »Sports«, their 4th album and somehow most savage, caustic release yet. Five tracks of grinding riffs, pummeling grooves, and throat-shredding vocals await listeners. Waingro are out for blood.

Waingro came onto the Vancouver music scene in 2014 and quickly gained notoriety due to their new sound along with their energetic live performances. This led to shows with High On Fire, Power Trip, Mudhoney, Fu Manchu, Sheer Mag, and Helms Alee among others. Having become on of the more prominent bands in the Vancouver heavy scene, they continue to draw a loyal crowd of thirsty attendees.
