Canadian sludge/stoner metal band Seum to release a live tape under the moniker Ratseum feat. Ratpiss vocalist Erin!

Canadian sludge/stoner metal band Seum will release a live tape with their recent show under the moniker Ratseum, which will be available in limited edition on September 8th, 2023.

The band comments: “On June 10th 2023, as Gaspard could not make it to our show at Hemisphere Gauche he was replaced on vocals by Erin, singer of the Montreal power violence band Ratpiss. For one night Seum became… Ratseum!

As the show ended up being recorded we decided to release it on tape as a memory of that unique evening.

Our long-time collaborator Gorka Uztarroz made a logo, we fixed a quick cover and spontaneously made 10 copies, totally DIY.

Each copy is hand numbered, and that recording will only be available on tape.

The tape will be released on September 8th on Bandcamp and during Seum’s show at The Traxide in Montreal with Kapitur, Twin Banshee and Ratpiss.”
