Canadian stoner/doom metal band MoonBather release a live session video »Live at Pacheedaht«

Canadian stoner/doom metal band MoonBather has released a live session video »Live at Pacheedaht« performing »U7« and »Ballena Volcánica« live on Pacheedaht Territory in British Columbia. Recorded on July 8th 2023. Filmed, edited, recorded, mixed & mastered by Evan Matthieson.

Says the band: “We are very excited to announce the release of our live session that we did this summer with our friend and master recorder, Evan Matthiesen. Featuring 2 song from our self-titled EP.

Huge thank you to the Patcheedaht Nation for allowing us to film on your beautiful territory.”

Forged in the year 2021, MoonBather started out with ex-Crimson Witch members Greg (guitar), and Jacob (vocals) with the goal of creating the best heavy music possible. A few months after starting out, they recruited local Rock Scientist and bassist Tim to lay down the low end.

After writing a handful if songs together, they needed a rock. Someone who would be able to provide a steady rhythm, and weave and bob throughout the songs that they’ve crafted. Luckily their friend and drummer MJ was more than willing to fill these shoes.

Now that the lineup is solidified, after months of grinding to perfect their songs, MoonBather started playing shows. First locally, then throughout Vancouver Island and BC’s Lower Mainland.

On June 23rd, after months of waiting MoonBather has finally release their debut EP. Featuring 4 thick tracks written throughout the bands early stages. Long Live Rock and Roll!!!!
