Montreal, Canada based stoner/doom/sludge metal duo Méchant Colosse share a music video for their debut single »Perdu dans foret«, released on January 21st, 2026.

Méchant Colosse comments: “This is the band’s first song. It’s about winter in Quebec. About being all alone in the woods, lost and in -30°C weather.”

Méchant Colosse is a stoner-doom-sludge duo from Montreal, Quebec (Canada) with lyrics in French. A bass and a drum kit. No guitar.

This project was founded by Félix and Daniel of the punk rock band RIPÉ, who wanted to make slower, heavier music.

The 4-track EP will be released in spring 2026.
