Listen to »Heavy As The Sun« on all major streaming services!

Says the band: “»Heavy As The Sun« is the title single off their upcoming EP due out November 27th. Heavy, loud, and slow. This is Moonbather’s heaviest song to date. Light one up, crank it loud, and piss off your neighbours.”

Moonbather is a stoner metal/desert rock band from Victoria, British Columbia.

Hailing from the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Moonbather blends the raw power of ’70s hard rock and metal with the grit of ’90s stoner metal, desert rock, and grunge.

With comparisons to John Garcia and Layne Staley, singer Jacob’s commanding vocals ride atop Greg’s Iommi/Hendrix-influenced, riff-driven guitar work, Tim’s effects-laden bass, and MJ’s thunderous drumming.

Since releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2023, Moonbather has cemented itself as a stalwart of the BC stoner/doom scene and has had the honor of sharing the stage with acts like Dopethrone, Hail The Void, and Heavy Trip.
