Catchy hooks galore, lashings of fuzz, powerful vocal harmonies and dynamic rhythms are waiting to be discovered in The Hazytones’ forthcoming album »Wild Fever«. The heavy stoner full-length is due to be released on May 10th, 2024 via Black Throne Productions.

The band comments: “Long awaited follow up by The Hazytones is finally here, it’s a fucking pure stoner gem wrapped in heavy rock delight! Delayed many times because what our world has been through last couple of years, »Wild Fever« is finally here.”

The album’s title track draws you in with compelling hooks and intricate riffs. Lyrically it explores the concept of “being drawn back into a negative situation that you previously encountered, something you know that is bad for you but feels safe at the same time”. Musically the song feels all encompassing. Fully immersive it’s easy to become lost amongst the winding instrumental parts. Go big or go home is the idea behind “Red”. Following a gambler who bets it all, daring to take the risk, it’s a fury of chuggs, low tones and artful manifestations of anticipation created through the rise and fall of the song’s dynamics. Bringing a slower pace and blues-tinted rhythms, “Disease” carries a darker undertone. The track “is [written] about when relationships go wrong and you feel left with a feeling of being sick or plagued by this relationship”.
