This Love Is Drone returns with their 5th release (they’ve previously released 3 EPs and 1 album) titled »Hail, Leighton!«. This marks the first release with their newest member, Vince Clarke, on synthesizer.

It is also their first studio-recorded release, recorded at Night Owl Studios in Sudbury, ON.

The 4 songs on this release are their most focused and realized work to date, featuring 2 classic TLID instrumentals (»Spider« & »Leighton«), a song about betrayal (»Grim Joke«) with Scott Riching (bass, guitar, occasional vocals) on vocals, and their heaviest song to date, »Imprint« features guest vocals from another Sudbury artist called Dried Up Daisies.

Filled with riffs, spooky synth, and horror references, »Hail, Leighton!« represents the band at their most creative.

Recorded at Night Owl Studios in February, 2026.
