»As I Cast Ruin Upon The Lens That Reveals My Every Flaw« stands as the companion album to our first full-length. »As We Cup Our Hands And Drink From The Stream Of Our Ache«, released in 2017, served as a place to compartmentalize a world of self-destructive thoughts, feelings of self-loathing, and spiritual malaise. It gave those feelings a place to live, separate from ourselves, as we tapped into that poisonous source of energy.

With »As I Cast Ruin Upon The Lens That Reveals My Every Flaw«, the album speaks of acceptance and revenge. Taking ownership of ones personal failures and flaws, accepting their choices and faults, and turning those lessons to power as the individual stands, grounded with greater clarity, against a world actively trying to extinguish the flame that drives us.
