La Fiura was founded in the winter of 2020 in Santiago, Chile. It is a trio of family, friendship, and dedication to traditional doom metal with a raw sound inspired by historical-mythological stories, sung in Castilian Spanish. La Fiura is Rodrigo Figueroa on drums (Mortajas, Marchafunebre, Mourners Lament), Pía Benavides on bass (Daam), and Matías Aguirre on vocals and guitars (King Heavy, Mourners Lament, The Ancient Doom).

They have currently released the live album »Fiura Viva«, recorded in a live session »DoomNight 2023«, and also their participation in the live album »Chamanes Fest III«. In March 2025, they released their first full-length album with 5 tracks, entitled »Jamás Será Ella Olvidada«.
