Chilean grunge/stoner rock band Jusolis released their new self-titled album; out now via BYM Records!

Santiago, Chile based grunge/stoner rock band Jusolis has just released new self-titled album on May 12th, 2025 via BYM Records. This is acctually their first properly recorded album, mastered by Jack Endino (Soundgarden, High On Fire, Year Of The Cobra).

The story behind our band:

“Our band is called Jusolis, and we hold a cult status in the Chilean rock scene, despite being active for only a few short years in the early 1990s. This was just after Pinochet’s brutal dictatorship ended, at a time when the country was experiencing a cultural explosion, characterized by both pent-up anger and the joy of newfound freedom. That ferment found its way into our music, which blends classic rock, stoner rock, grunge, and metal.

We were considered to have enormous potential and were even offered a four-record contract by BMG, but we were young, and life took us in different directions – literally to different parts of the globe.

It has been 30 years since we disbanded, but today we are proud to finally share our first properly recorded album. All the songs are compositions from that era, written when most of us were still in high school. Staying true to the sound and aesthetic vision of the time, we recorded everything over three days in January 2024 at BYM Studios in Santiago, Chile. The album was mastered by Jack Endino, the legendary Seattle sound engineer known for his work with Nirvana, Soundgarden, L7, and more recently, stoner rock band Nebula.”
