After two years of their well received debut album »In Finitude«, Wooden Veins Veins present us their new single »Tearing Seas«, showing a more progressive side with some heavier touch, but keeping their distinctive melodic vocal lines and atmospheric feeling.

Band would comment: “»Tearing Seas« is about sleep paralysis, feeling helpless in a situation you can’t control, the growing fear and the incapacity of knowing when it will end. We tried not to only lyrically express those feelings but by the music itself, changing colours and sections that represent different stages of those moments.”

Wooden Veins, formed by Chilean musicians mostly based in European countries, engages in classic melodic doom metal, combining it with progressive and gothic elements, exploring even further as they bring more heaviness and even Latin flavour into their sound.

Wooden Veins are:
Javier Cerda – Vocals
Juan Escobar – Guitar
Eduardo Poblete – Keys
Juan Diaz – Bass
Alberto Atalah – Drums
