Desert Witch is a Chilean doom stoner band with dark psychedelic influences, founded in 2021. With the aim of making heavy music, creating dense atmospheres filled with melancholy, they seek to unite a dark instrumental base with a melodic voice that moves in and out of the light.

The witch in the “desert” symbolizes the invocation of the spirits of light and darkness, that duality we all possess within.

The current lineup consists of Valeria Pérez (vocals), Emilio Nova (guitar), Eduardo Fuentes (bass), and Alejandro Sanhueza (drums). The band just released their first LP, »La Otra Razón«.

Says the band: “We want to thank our families and friends who supported us from the beginning. We also thank Rodrigo Standen and Claudia Valenzuela, who were instrumental in creating our first compositions.

Recorded at Planetario Rec’s between November 2024 and January 2025, in Santiago, Chile.
