Chilean stoner rockers trio Templo de Chivos premiere new music video for »La Gula Beach«: a psychedelic and provocative dive into a deadly sin!

Santiago, Chile based stoner rock power trio Templo de Chivos premiere new music video for »La Gula Beach« taken from their latest EP, »Rituales de la Sabana« (2025). It is a visceral burst of energy that combines sonic power, ironic social commentary, and a raw atmosphere – an experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Defined by heavy riffs and a strong rock identity, »La Gula Beach« serves as a direct journey into the darkest, most primitive human instincts. The track invites listeners into the ritualistic universe of Templo de Chivos – a satire centered on excess, obsession, and desire. In this chapter of their “cult,” the band delves into one of life’s greatest pleasures, which is simultaneously one of its most notorious sins.
Both the lyrics and the visual approach offer a provocative reflection on insatiable appetite and the loss of control. The song explores the concept of a deadly sin from a unique perspective, moving beyond mere physical hunger to examine temptation, pleasure, and the very nature of excess. This track stands as a cornerstone of the band’s identity, showcasing their most energetic and raw side while maintaining the immersive, signature sound for which they are known.
The music video is an audiovisual work characterized by a psychedelic, striking, and irreverent aesthetic. It was created collectively and independently by the band, in direct collaboration with Aquelarre – their inner circle of friends and collaborators. True to the project’s provocative style, the piece presents a visual contradiction in which excess makes no distinction between what society labels “healthy” or “sinful” – exposing the fine line where an obsession with consumption turns into a trance.
Templo de Chivos sets no rules; they advocate for absolute freedom, tempered by the awareness needed to ensure that pleasure does not become a curse. It is up to you to decide on which side you choose to satisfy your hunger.

Regarding the visual concept and the creative process, bassist Francis comments:
“We really enjoyed creating this video, working from our own premise of showcasing everyday excesses—the dichotomy between eating healthily and eating poorly. Ultimately, you decide which side you’re on, and that really applies to all kinds of vices.”
Meanwhile, El Chivo – the band’s vocalist, guitarist, and the song’s composer – reflects on the conceptual inspiration behind the track:
“The song came about because eating has always been my greatest weakness – or, you could say, the ‘deadly sin’ I find hardest to manage. It’s about looking that shadow in the face, acknowledging it, and finding a way to deal with it or keep it under control.”
With a solid sonic approach and a visual narrative that is as provocative as it is thought-provoking, »La Gula Beach« reaffirms the energy and signature style that Templo de Chivos brings to the independent music scene.

»La Gula Beach« is now available on all streaming platforms and can be viewed directly on the band’s official YouTube channel HERE.
