Chinese stoner/doom metal band Sabist (formerly known as Demon & Eleven Children) released demo compilation »Fuzzying Test«

Guangzhou, China based stoner/doom metal band Sabist (formerly known as Demon & Eleven Children) has just released a demo compilation »Fuzzying Test« on June 18th, 2026.
Tracklist:
01. Looming Doom
02. Werewolf Murderer
03. Fuzzying
04. Merry Christmas Ms. Lao Rongzhi
Sabist comments on »Fuzzying Test«:
“This is a compilation of raw recording and mixing tests. We wanted to try different ways of recording demos at rehearsals and live.
“Track 1-4” are 9-track recording tests, recorded at rehearsal.
Recorded & mixed by 鸡笼.
We’ll probably keep adding new tracks here.
FuzzYing (法子英) and Lao Rongzhi (劳荣枝) were a criminal couple, kind of like Bonnie and Clyde.”

About the new start, the band explains:
“Demon & Eleven Children had actually been inactive since last year after our singer left the band.
About half a year later, our good friend Poissy joined us as the new vocalist and we started playing again. We changed our sound a little to better fit the new voice, so we also decided to change the band name – now we are Sabist.
Maybe some people followed us because of the “female-voice doom” thing, but honestly, we never cared about gender. We’ve always just been four friends playing doom together.
Even though the original singer left, the three of us are still same. And we dare to say Poissy is one of the best doom singer in China.
So, this is our new sound.A few days ago we recorded these raw demos at rehearsal. We’ll keep playing doom in this doomless land.”
