Colombian heavy rockers Sombra de Piedra and Esquizoforia teamed up for their split album, entitled »Heresiarcas«, which was just released on February 22nd, 2026.

There are heresies that are born from silence and others that emerge from the cry. »Heresiarcas« unites two ways of inhabiting heavy rock: Sombra de Piedra: instrumental, tectonic, where the riff speaks and the distortion breathes like a mineral mantra. Esquizoforia: dense structures crossed by voices in which they expand like a psychedelic echo in the middle of the fuzz.
Each band contributes two original compositions: four manifestos that dialogue from different languages but with the same heavy root. The journey is completed with two reinterpretations: a reading of the Budgie legacy and an invocation to the spirit of Kadavar. The title says it all: a heresiarch does not destroy the faith, he redefines it. This split is tradition mutating. It is desert, darkness, volume, atmosphere and revelation.
