Bogota, Colombia based instrumental doom/sludge/punk rock trio Surtidora de Ratas has just released their 2020 albums »Siniestros, orgias y gozos en el año de la rata« and »Plegarias para embriagar las ánimas de las ratas« in CD format.

The band comments: “After a long time of cosmic uncertainties and sound reunions with rehearsal rooms and live music, we announce that we will finally publish the physical edition of our two albums from the year 2020. »Plegarias para embriagar las ánimas de las ratas« and »Siniestros, orgias y gozos en el año de la rata« will be presented in double CD digipack format, thanks to the joint work carried out with our friends from T-Rec Music who are making their debut as a record label.
We thank everyone who wants to purchase this tremendous edition and blow up their speakers with more than two hours of recording.

Formed in Bogota, Colombia in 2013, Surtidora de Ratas are strongly influenced by genres such as stoner rock, doom, sludge and punk rock. Their sound feeds on the chaos of the avenues, the shouts in the confined neighborhoods, the lamentations in the forgotten sewers and the vibrations of the atmosphere that sets the trances of dreams, the seas of drunkenness, the bad trips given away for the gods and deja vu that continue to bring us closer to the end of the world.
In 2014 was released the first EP »La rata que mata«, where was included songs »Vida picha« and »La cruz de burundanga«, also in 2015 the band participates on Colombian Tribute to Misfits with »London Dungeon«.
During 2016 the band composed their first LP and at the beginning of 2017 began the recordings to release this totally new material. In 2018 they launched the debut LP »Salmos Rata«.
In 2020 Surtidora de Ratas released two simultaneous albums, »Siniestros, orgias y gozos en el año de la rata« and »Plegarias para embriagar las ánimas de las ratas«.
Nowadays the band keep experimenting with new sounds.
Surtidora de Ratas is the soundtrack for the red chronicle, the Latin American city seen from their collective sins. Condemned by the rats!
