»You Have Taught Me Everything That I Know« is a collaborative album written and produced by Cowardice & Cementation Anxiety. With a great focus on dense, harrowing soundscapes juxtaposed by weightless, ethereal textures, »You Have Taught Me Everything That I Know« endeavors to be a first of its kind. The sonic sensibilities of these songs lean on key synergistic influences shared between us as artists, but molded into a kaleidoscopic amalgamation of its parts. Informed by the claustrophobic tendencies of greats such as Corrupted and Asunder, the core of these songs were built, only to be encased by granular soundscapes akin to those engineered by the likes of Maeror Tri, Ramleh, and Dead Can Dance.

The lyrical presentation of »You Have Taught Me Everything That I Know« explores an honest and iconoclastic view of today’s crumbling social structure and design. Thematically, these songs explore personal adversity pitted against one’s own integrity. Iconoclasm is the only gift that can be given to and earned by one’s self.

In its totality, »You Have Taught Me Everything That I Know«, showcases Cowardice’s densest and most harrowing work yet; a departure from the airy, natural feel of »Atavist«. Cementation Anxiety’s accompaniment to these tracks provide a textural frozen layer to an already glacial piece of work. The grinding hum of machinery whistles its way through gaps of acrimonious spires of riff-stacked compositions. »You Have Taught Me Everything That I Know« is a novel concept of collaboration, and an honest execution of experimentation in heavy and challenging music.
