»Chasing The Sun«, taken from the band’s 2026 album »Eclipse«, is one of the gentler and more intimate songs in Ánni’s repertoire – a dark folk-inspired piece that steps away from the heavier side of their music and lets the atmosphere breathe.
For this video, the band wanted to capture the song in a more intimate setting. Away from the stage and surrounded by nature, Ánni performed »Chasing The Sun« during a small private evening session, with candlelight, fire and the warmth of close friends, devoted listeners and people who have been part of the band’s journey.

Emerging from the shadows of the South Bohemian underground, the atmospheric pagan metal project Ánni has released its highly anticipated debut full-length album, »Eclipse«, on May 22nd, 2026. Following a series of critically acclaimed underground singles, the duo has crafted an expansive, eight-track journey that seamlessly bridges the raw emotional depth of doom metal with the mystical grandeur of pagan and black metal landscapes.
Formed in 2023 by multi-instrumentalist V. B. V. (Dark Angels) and lyricist/vocalist Neira (Arthemion), Ánni builds upon the sonic foundations laid by their previous independent singles like »Whispers Of The North« and »Elegy Of Decay«. With »Eclipse«, the band expands their musical horizon into a 39-minute sonic ritual that explores themes of shadow, ritualistic silence, and the untamed power of the natural world.
The self-titled centerpiece and leading single, »Eclipse«, perfectly encapsulates the band’s identity, weaving melancholic dark folk instrumentation with heavy, crushing doom passages and raw atmospheric intensity.
“Our debut album »Eclipse« blends dark folk, atmospheric black metal, and doom passages,” the band shared regarding the release. “This diversity gave us the complete freedom to experiment, allowing us to capture a melancholic mood that combines raw intensity with slower, atmospheric soundscapes.”
Visuals play a vital role in the storytelling of »Eclipse«. The accompanying official music video for the title track – captured entirely in the misty, deep forests of Czechia – mirrors the dark, primal energy of the record. The striking album cover art was created by artist Adéla Boháčová.
