SOL is a dark ambient, drone and doom band from Denmark with neofolk influences and avant-garde tendencies. Founded in 2004 by Emil Brahe.

»Sleep Is A River« is a meditation on the outside world’s uncanny ability to make horrors of the inner reality.

What is left when the mind is lost and perception but an evil dream we cannot seem to escape?

SOL has summoned an unsettling soundtrack to the end of reason; a frightful realm stretched out in time to a distorted infinity of paranoid beauty.
