Lophius is a doom/stoner punk power trio from Copenhagen, Denmark. The soundscape contains many different contrasting features – from hardcore inspired passages with screams and growls to more bluesy and psychedelic riffs and cleanly sung vocals. The lyrics reflect the dark mood of the music with a look into the psychology of both the people and the system of our flawed and doomed existence.
