Copenhagen, Denmark based stoner rock band Kadavermarch featuring current and former members of Illdisposed, Crocell, Czar, Tudsegammelt, Helhorse and Total Heels drops a music video for their first single »1000 Yard Stare«.

»1000 Yard Stare« is taken from their debut full-length album »Into Oblivion«, scheduled for release in August 2022 via Last Mile Records.

The eyes are closed, the skin is cold. The rotten smell of decay fills the air. The wind whips, and the only sounds are the creaks of the naked bare branches. Everything seems dead and deserted. But suddenly the eyes open and a dead 1000 yard stare gazes beyond the endless desolation. The crack to the world of the dead is yet again open.

Kadavermarch is a reality, the eyes of the dead stare directly into the world of the living. The strange world of the dead that seems both present and distant, meaningful and empty – your friend as well as your enemy – and enchanted and seductive as a deadly lover. Debut full-length album »Into Oblivion« is scheduled to drop in August 2022.

Five people – all with roots in the Danish underground scene in bands such as Illdisposed, Crocell, Czar, Helhorse, Tudsegammelt and Total Heels – met up for the first time in the summer of 2019 to wallow in their desire to play stoner, desert rock and heavy metal. Brought together by a mysterious mutual friend, who had a fuzzy vision for a band – that he shortly thereafter abandoned. Since then, the remaining 5 members have developed their sound to just the right blend of the different howling noises to satisfy their riff-needy souls – and their lost friend, who could not finish what he set out to do.

Now they find themselves standing together on stage. The beat is heavy. Guitars, drums, bas and organ saturates the air and soundscape. The only thing that penetrates the wall of sound are the two lead vocals. From the graveyard to the outskirts of the galaxy, Kadavermarch rises with eternal echo, reverberation and pounding guitars to the empty void beyond.
