Deafheaven’s new studio album »Lonely People With Power« out now via Roadrunner Records; watch short film »Winona«!

San Francisco, California based blackgaze/post-metallers Deafheaven have just released their sixth studio album »Lonely People With Power« this Friday, March 28th, 2025 via Roadrunner Records.

To celebrate the release, Deafheaven drops a short film »Winona«, directed by Nico (Pulse Films).

»Lonely People With Power« is Deafheaven’s follow-up to 2021’s »Infinite Granite«, with Justin Meldal-Johnsen (St. Vincent, M83) returning as producer. »Lonely People With Power« is out March 28. It’s Deafheaven’s first album for Roadrunner Records; their previous albums arrived via Deathwish, Anti-, and Sargent House.

The band – featuring vocalist George Clarke, guitarists Kerry McCoy and Shiv Mehra, bassist Christopher Johnson, and drummer Daniel Tracy – invited Paul Banks of Interpol and Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher to guest on the new album.
