Delrei unveils »Ensenada« video as »Desolation And Radiation« gets vinyl release via Go Down Records!

Delrei, the brainchild of visionary guitarist Alessandro Mercanzin, is making waves again with the release of a brand-new video for »Ensenada«, coinciding with the vinyl debut of »Desolation And Radiation«. Go Down Records and Projekt are teaming up to bring this “future western” soundscape to vinyl collectors for the first time this July.

»Desolation And Radiation«, originally released digitally by Projekt in 2023, quickly garnered acclaim for its blend of Noir Western and Desert Blues. The album, an epic Spaghetti Western symphony steeped in post-apocalyptic vibes, is a testament to Mercanzin’s deep connection with desolate landscapes and spectral atmospheres.

Produced by Maurizio Baggio (known for his work with The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher, and Messa), the record showcases Delrei’s distinct sonic vision, drawing inspiration from Ennio Morricone’s iconic soundtracks and the cinematic worlds of David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino.

To celebrate the occasion in style, Delrei has released a brand new video for the track »Ensenada«, which you can watch below. Alessandro Mercanzin comments: “I would describe this track as truly epic – both in its nature and its ambition. It weaves together a rich tapestry of sounds that build tension and expansion in a peculiar way. More than any other, it captures the very spirit of Delrei. The music evokes vivid, cinematic imagery: a Western set in a distant future, a nocturnal journey through desert dust, and the lingering ache of a lost home. It tells the story of a solitary nomad facing the ghosts of his past as he approaches the border town of Ensenada, haunted by the regret of having never changed course before reaching the Wasteland.”
