Santa Fe, New Mexico based ambient drone doom solo project Ruiner has signed with Desert Records to release debut album »The Book Of Patience« on June 9th, 2023. The epic 80 minute drone album will be released on cassette tape w/ custom boxes and CD. Pre-order coming soon!

Manifested around 2010 strictly as a live experience nowhere to be found online, but now, this high desert enchanter is ready to make flesh the material capable of manipulating time and space.

»The Book Of Patience« will be out June 9th and has aspects of William Basinski melded together with Sunn 0))).

Ruiner is orchestral, melancholic, sonic obliteration. Layers of ethereal, floral ambience gradually, crescendos into a glacial wall of sound.The subtle evolution of the album aims to engage and enchant the listener, leading them through an other worldly, monumental experience that is »The Book Of Patience«.

A cosmic experimental key desifned assiduously to asses ones intrisic stamina of postponed gratification. If absorbed wholly, transcendental exultation will be acertained.

»The Book Of Patience« was recorded in one take using a bass bow on an open B string (mostly) of a 5-string bass.
