Can you say a few words about your band?
We are KOLLAPS\E (The swedish one ). We play a mixture of post-metal, sludge, post-hardcore and post-rock. The inspiration comes from a many. But to make it easy, Neurosis, Converge, Breach, Russian circles, Burst and more.

What was the biggest challenge for the band last year?
Being a band… it’s tough getting older, having full-time jobs and families. And then spend ridiculously amount on time writing and so on. Also, we had an great start to year with an album release, mind blowing reviews etc. But then it just came to a dead halt… last year didn’t really do much for us unfortunately. So that was a little disheartening as well.

What can you be most proud of last year?
»Phantom Centre« without a doubt. This was an D.I.Y production from start to finish. We recorded everything in our rehearsal space and made additional stuff at home. Then I mixed and mastered it! (First time ever). For what it is I think it do sound pretty cool… I’m proud of it!

What was your biggest regret?
No regrets, but maybe we should have fought harder for shows considering we released an album. On the other hand it takes more than one to tango.

What was the best concert/tour last year and why?
Oops.. haven’t been to a single show last year… i think this must be the first time in 30 years… Really pathetic on my part really.. since I know there’s been a lot of cool tours around my area.

What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Void Of Light, kollwitz (defunct Norwegian band), ORO, Gamdøden.. and probably tons more. I’m really bad at listening to newer stuff.

Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
23/2 – Klubb Fredagsmangel, w/ The Moth Gatherer – Jakobsberg
24/2 – The crypt, Clash of the underground – Linköping
9/3 – Plan B – Malmö
These are the shows we know about right now.

What are your plans for the this year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
We are actually putting the finishing touches on our next album. We are hitting the studio in a month or so. So we are looking forward to that for sure.
Personally?! Hmm, to have a good year.. with not to many bumps in the road.

How can people best support your band?
If you want to buy music, merch it’s definitely Bandcamp. If you want to listen I guess it’s Spotify. If you want to see what we are up to its probably IG. And after all these are done and you like us and so on, please share our music via links etc and help us spread the word

Do you have any message for your listeners?
Thank you for checking us out! We hope you enjoyed »Phantom Centre« and we hope to see you down the road.
Stay safe!
