Pyrogaric are a Welsh, original psych rock band with blues & stoner influences.
Enchanting story tellers, sharing the tales of re-birth, war & loss, Pyrogaric will captivate the audience, with clear, powerful vocals & a full sound that you wouldn’t expect from a two-piece line up. The sound is based upon maximising the potential of vocals & individual instruments without relying on effects.
Pyrogaric’s self-released debut album »Home« (out August 19th, 2023) is followed by new single called »Fly On The Wall« (out December 15th, 2023), available now on all streaming services.
Can you say a few words about your band?
A few words about Pyrogaric, hmm where do we start? Although there are only two of us, we consist of HUGE meaty riffs and STRONG powerful vocals.
What was the biggest challenge for the band this year?
Finding the balance between personal life and band life. Being a duo allows us to make sacrifices, but also be very flexible – it’s a great mix that allow’s us to create chemistry on stage and put on a show.
What can you be most proud of this year?
The thing that has made us most proud is the self release of our debut album »Home« and releasing it in Local HMV Stores & also the announcement for Planet Rock Winters End in February 2024. We are very VERY excited for this.
What was the best concert/tour this year and why?
We played lots of wicked shows this year but a few highlights would be Neon Goat Fest in the Westgate Newport, South Wales (including James Kennedy & The Underdogs & Scarsun) & The Marrs Bar in Worcester, England (with Stoneded & Aonach). It is so much fun when the crowd let loose and are REALLY into the music!

What are your plans for the next year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
We are CONTINUOUSLY creating new music and currently recording singles for a potential album later next year (& did someone say UK Tour?).
Do you already know what are you doing on New Year’s Eve?
We currently have no plans other than to RELAX! 2024 is going to be a crazy ride, and we ARE READY for it!
