Achachak is a stoner rock band from Vučipolje, Croatia.
Formed in 1999, Achachak consists of Ante Kodžoman on vocals, Patrik Zelenika on guitar, Luka Gobin on second guitar, Lovre Gobin on bass and Milan Mijač on drums.
The band’s third studio album »Planet Hashish« was released on March 12th, 2022 via Dostava Zvuka Records.
Can you say a few words about your band?
Achachak is a stoner rock/metal band from Croatia that has three full-length albums and three EPs behind it. I love the description of our sound that was once assigned to us that said “Sounds like Matt Pike and Liz Buckingham having a child and the same child being raised by the band Clutch and sober Uncle Ozzy.”
What was the biggest challenge for the band last year?
Finishing the fourth album is still the most difficult challenge. Also we lost our bass player, if someone sees Lovre tell him to come back home.
What can you be most proud of last year?
The fact that we survived another year?!
What was your biggest regret?
The fact that we survived another year?! Hahah I’m joking. We have no regrets at all.
What was the best concert/tour last year and why?
Unfortunately, we did not have concerts last year due to private reasons. But for this year we have a new album, many music videos and a small tour.
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Hearing for the first time the band Vipera – the guys are really killing it!

What are your plans for this year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
Next year, we will probably release three albums, as we say in the Balkans “Jebiga čekaj malo” aka you have to be patient. We’ll talk more about that soon. Psst!
