Doomed Confessionary: Pascal (Doble Sesión Nocturna)
Doble Sesión Nocturna is a six-piece psychedelic/stoner/space rock band based in Madrid, Spain.
The band released their debut album »Volumen I« on October 26th, 2023.
Doble Sesión Nocturna are Álvaro on vocals, Aitor on synthesizer, Javi on guitar, Sergio on drums, Pascal on bass and Tony on projections.
Can you say a few words about your band?
Band born in September 2022, which arises from the desire to create a musical proposal in which to give free rein to certain artistic concerns, which flow between heavy and psychedelic music and the love of cinema.
Each of the members, who come from different musical projects of very diverse styles, share a common desire, to create an audiovisual experience with which to transport the “spectator” to a “Doble Sesión Nocturna” (Late Night Double Feature) of stoner/doom, psychedelia and hypnotic images projected and manipulated live.
What was the biggest challenge for the band last year?
We recorded our first album within the first year as a band. It felt like a challenge but in the end, the experience was great fun.
What can you be most proud of last year?
Well, again, our first album. It has been really well received in the scene.
What was your biggest regret?
We didn’t play at Sonic Blast Festival
What was the best concert/tour last year and why?
Our album release party. We had lots of friends, the atmosphere was great and we gave popcorn during the gig. We played with Septiembre Negro, a great band from the local scene and also friends.
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
We are hooked on Calizo, a cosmic rock band from Madrid (support your local scene) and Maquina., great trio from Lisbon.
Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
In Spain for sure. We would love to play anywhere. Do you have any gig for us?
What are your plans for this year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
We want to record and release our second album, a space western concept album. We would love to tour a lot… sure, no gigs for us in Slovenia?

Do you have any message for your listeners?
You should definitly enter the wonderful world of Quinqui, 70’s spanish western and horror movies. It’s a big influence in our music. Give it a try and let us know!
