Doomed Confessionary: Stefano, Fabio & Alessio (Moonin Down)

Moonin Down is a collaborative project involving three seasoned musicians deeply rooted in the rich history of the Italian underground music scene.
Operating under the alias Blues So Bad, they crafted their debut album, »The Monday Of The Shoemaker«. Their musical prowess is also showcased in the track »My Nothing«, featured on a tribute to The Fuzztones called »Fuzztones Illegitimate Spawn«.
Moonin Down thrives in the electrifying ambiance of live performances, a dimension where their passion truly comes to life. This vitality and fervor are seamlessly captured in their recordings.
Can you say a few words about your band?
Moonin Down is an idea by three musicians who have been playing in bands of the Italian underground for years: Stefano Biagioni (guitar & voice), Fabio Buda (bass & voice) and Alessio Tambellini (drums & voice). We have always fed on psychedelia, garage, hard blues from the 70s, desert rock, even though we don’t offer a stereotyped sound but a resultant that we have defined as psychHARDelic rock.
What was the biggest challenge for the band this year?
Composing new songs, always trying not to repeat ourselves and exploring new horizons.
What can you be most proud of this year?
Without a doubt having signed with Argonauta Records!
What was your biggest regret?
Not having participated in the Set to Sun festival in Sardinia.
What was the best concert/tour this year and why?
In April at Route66 with many friends in the audience who don’t usually attend concerts, seeing their satisfied faces thrilled us…new scalps conquered for the Rock god!
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Oreyeon.
Where can we see you live next year (concerts/tours)?
Who knows?….work in progress.
What are your plans for the next year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
Our album: »The Third Planet« with Argonauta will be released and we will try to promote it live as best we can, we will continue to work on new songs for the next work and we will try to play live as much as possible.
Do you already know what are you doing on New Year’s Eve?
Towards the aperitif time we will start drinking craft beer produced by the fermentation of the molds in our studio, shortly after we will start to secrete a thread that will wrap us in three comfortable cocoons and hanging from the centuries-old oak we will sing arcane harmonies to the new year…
How can people best support your band?
As a first step, unfortunately, we have to say by following us on social media, as a second step, asking venues and festivals to host us there.
Do you have any message for your listeners?
…the best is yet to come!
