Can you say a few words about your band?
Hi, thank’s a lot for writing us. I am Vicente and I will answer you. Golgotha is a legendary Spanish band of doom/death metal, was born in the nineties. It was active until 1998 and they split up that year. In 2005 they released another album, and it was not until 2018 that with the new, more stable line-up they have continued to release albums until today.

What was the biggest challenge for the band?
The biggest challenge is to continue making music and enjoying this “underground” atmosphere, releasing albums and having people like them.

What can you be most proud of so far?
We are proud that our band is being heard and receiving all the good reviews that come out about us.

What was your biggest regret?
I regret having stopped the band for too long for reasons that are not relevant, and having lost time that can no longer be recovered.

What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
The best concert we did was in Kanekas Metal Fest las year. Because was perfect! It’s a festival in Cangas do Morrazo (Pontevedra) in the north of Spain. And the band was great and the crew is awesome.

What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Death metal, it’s a music that fills me with its aggressiveness and doom metal with its sadness and melancholy.

What is currently in your heavy musical rotation?
Hyperdontia, Cryptworm, Faceless Burial… and death and doom metal from the nineties.

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
Enjoy what you do and the so will others.

What are your guilty pleasures?
I don’t have guilty pleasures… I’m very happy with my life! I do what I want to do.

Can you say something more about the music scene in Palma, Balearic Islands?
We have a brutal music scene, here there are bands of all metal styles and with very good songs and sounds, but living on an island it is very difficult to make yourself known.

Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
This year we don’t play live concerts because one member of the band has been surgery and we want to wait for his recovery.

What are your plans for the future as a band?
Continue in the underground and make music for myself and my listeners.

How can people best support your band?
Buying merch and buying records and leaving good reviews on RRSS, any support is good.

Do you have any message for your listeners?
Thank you for your support, I hope you like our music, understand our lyrics and enjoy the songs on our new album »Spreading The Wings Of Hope«.
