Sauzipf Rocks added Dopethrone, Cadû, Caloris Impact, Moon Woman, Wish To Wonder and Retschn Ernst Sei Maschin to the festival’s 2025 lineup. Previously confirmed bands are Wolvennest, Mohama Saz, Mother’s Cake, Leber, Splinter, Tired., Triptonus and Salamirecorder.
Sauzipf Rocks Festival will take place on August 8-9, 2025 in Döbriach, Millstättersee, Austria.

DOPETHRONE (Sludge Metal // Canada)
Finest Slutch from Montréal, Canada. Active since 2008, this DIY trio encompasses the bleakness of black metal, the steadfastness of New Orleans-style sludge, and a heavier-than-thou doom mentality. The riffs are thick, punishing, suffocating and destructive, with lyrics based on self-destruction, murder, cannabis and sleazy drug abuse.
CADÛ (Progressive Rock // Austria)
Cadû is a heavy trip rock formation hailing from Vienna, where the magic of sound is celebrated and enlivened with ecstatic dances. Dynamic rhythms, powerful riffs and sensual screams, combined with improvised jams, where the full force of the synthetic energy flows and collapses like a wave of indefinable emotions. Moon Woman is a versatile, four-headed formation from Innsbruck, Austria, that shines with an atmospheric merging of blues, psychedelic and heavy rock. Besides thick riffs and heavy drums, the base of their sound stays groovy, dynamic and airy. Digging deep in their foundation, influences like The Doors, Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac and more contemporary artists like All Them Witches come to light.
