Dutch alternative metal solo project First World Appetite share new single and lyric video »Get Down« taken from the upcoming album, »Angel Shades Demise«, which will see the light on June 12th, 2026. Available now for streaming on all major digital platforms.

First World Appetite is a Dutch alternative metal project that fuses raw emotion, aggression, and introspection into a relentless and uncompromising sound.

Created back in 2015 by Ronald de Groot, the solo project was born out of frustration with this world and all the struggles that it brings. FWA draws influence from 90s nu, alternative, industrial and thrash metal and mixes it in a raw new format. Fast riffs, heavy drums and agressive “in your face” vocal performances combined with melodic and frantic lead guitars make up the explosive expression of rage and defiance that is First World Appetite.
