Arnhem, Netherlands based black/doom metal band Eeuwig join forces with FDA Records.

Forged in the isolation of the Dutch lockdowns, Eeuwig emerged from Arnhem in 2022 as a dark and atmospheric new force within the European metal scene.

Founded by Jeroen van Riet (ex-Dead End, My Favorite Scar), the project quickly evolved when he brought in vocalist Ronald Stempyn (ex-Dead Bolt, Deem Index) to help shape its sonic identity. What followed was the creation of a band that refuses to be confined by genre boundaries.

Eeuwig blends the crushing weight of doom with the aggression of black and death metal, while also drawing from the melancholic shadows of classic rock and new wave. Their sound is defined by harsh screams intertwined with clean male and female vocals, massive riffs, and soaring lead melodies—creating a bleak yet captivating atmosphere that feels both intense and deeply emotional.

A unique element of the band is Mist, the 17-year-old daughter of Van Riet, whose distinctive voice adds a refreshing and unmistakable character to the band’s layered vocal approach. Together with Stempyn (vocals) and Van Riet (vocals & guitar), Eeuwig features three vocalists, resulting in a dynamic and powerful sonic palette.

Fans of bands like Katatonia, Borknagar, Opeth and other dark, atmospheric metal acts will find much to appreciate in Eeuwig’s sound.

In 2026, Eeuwig will release their highly anticipated full-length debut album via FDA Records. Strengthened by the addition of experienced musicians on guitar and bass, the band is now more focused, heavier, and more ambitious than ever.

With their debut on the horizon, Eeuwig is poised to establish themselves as a compelling and formidable presence in the European metal landscape.
