Dutch black/doom metal collective Eeuwig has announced their debut album, »Older Than Fire And Prayer«, scheduled for release on November 27th, 2026 via FDA Records.

From despair to euphoria – Eeuwig reveal their debut album!

The wait has been more than worth it! On their debut album »Older Than Fire And Prayer«, Eeuwig deliver ten songs balancing hopelessness and euphoria, wrapped in unique melodies and enriched by Mist’s wonderful vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and Ronald’s brutal voice. Fans of Katatonia, Trees Of Eternity, Draconian and Borknagar absolutely need to check this out!

Blending doom, black and death metal with elements of classic rock and new wave, Eeuwig draws inspiration from Paradise Lost, Bathory, Converge, The Ocean, Joy Division, Mitski and Candlemass. Their sound combines crushing riffs, soaring melodies, harsh screams and clean male and female vocals, creating a dark, atmospheric and emotionally charged sonic landscape.

»Older Than Fire And Prayer« was recorded at Four Blades Recording (Valburg,NL), mixed and mastered by Evan Reed. Artwork is done by Marjolijn Noordman a.k.a. n_a_c_h_t_d_i_e_r.

About Eeuwig:
Conceived 2022 by Jeroen van Riet (ex-Dead End, My Favorite Scar), the project took shape with Ronald Stempyn (ex-Dead Bolt, Deem Index) on vocals.

A unique element is Mist, Van Riet’s 17-year-old daughter, whose distinctive voice adds another dimension to the band. Together with Stempyn and Van Riet, she forms Eeuwig’s three-vocalist lineup.
The band is completed by seasoned musicians Rutger van Noordenburg (ex-Pestilence, Shinigami, Radiathor) on guitar, Daan Janzing (ex-My Favorite Scar, ex-Maiden United) on guitar and Bart van Unen (Sundowner, Enfer) on bass.

Heavier, darker and more ambitious than ever, Eeuwig is ready to carve its place in the European metal landscape.
