Blossom & Wither is a four-piece instrumental post-metal band from The Netherlands. The band combines various characteristics from different genres: catchy syncopated rhythms and overwhelming blast beats, alternated with ambience and elongated post-rock compositions – resulting in a mixture of layered melodic parts and heavy, pounding riffs. Major influences for this project include Russian Circles, Cloudkicker and Conjurer. Following their first single »The Yearning«, debut album »Nevermore« was released on March 21st, 2025.

Says the band: “This album is a representation of the journey through the stages of grief. A process known to many, yet different for everyone. Each track on the record is written from the perspective of the respective stage – denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance – with personally experienced turmoil at its core. Expect a rollercoaster of emotions conveyed through dynamic textures, complex rhythms and compelling melodies.
