Bronson Superfortress is a power trio from Landgraaf, forged in the raw, underground energy of The Oefenbunker. Consisting of Bas Gribnau on bass/vocals/sampler, Martijn Ritzen on drums/keys and Brandon Spies on guitar/vocals/keys. Formed around 2020, the band started writing new material, taking a different route after their first project, Scars Of Battle.

Their sound is a thunderous fusion of stoner doom, prog and heavy psych, blending gritty riffs, crushing rhythms and atmospheric shifts that create a truly immersive experience. Beneath the sonic intensity, their lyrics delve into the dark side of humanity, exploring complex emotions and existential struggles.

On March 9th 2025, Bronson Superfortress released their live EP, »Homesick«, exactly a year from when they recorded their live performance opening for heavy psych/alt-rock band The Machine. »Homesick« is a remembrance to the now burnt down Oefenbunker, to Lokaal 4, to their home, where all their ideas came to fruition.
