Amsterdam, Netherlands based psychedelic stoner rock band Cervus stream their new three-track EP, »Shifting Sands«, which was just released on May 12th, 2023.

“Cervus is a six-piece 70’s inspired stoner rock band infused with doom elements, hailing from Amsterdam, Netherlands.”

Cervus’ music is a combination of heavy stoner rock, doom and 70’s hard rock with a psychedelic edge. The many influences of the band create a potent and moving mix of massive, pounding riffs and driving grooves, interspersed with soaring melancholic passages. This six-headed beast fires off a wall of sound, all engrossing and intoxicating.

The title »Shifting Sands« symbolizes the elusive nature of life and the band members’ turbulent experiences over the years. The EP offers an introspective view of the uncertain times we live in.
