Sphinx of Smoke is a brand-new music project coming from… yep, from Egypt! Formed in 2026, this mysterious trio recorded their first single, »Black Sand Ritual«, released on September 4, 2026 via Witching Buzz Records.

For us personally, this was quite a discovery. We’ve heard that the band is preparing their debut EP, so let’s cross our fingers and wait for it. In the meantime, let’s enjoy these cool sounds!

»Black Sand Ritual« is where Sphinx of Smoke begins. Dark, heavy, and mysterious, inspired by the atmosphere of the Egyptian desert and the ancient stories surrounding it. We wanted to create something that feels like a ritual rather than just another song. This is only the first chapter.” – the band says

Sphinx Of Smoke is:
Noor – Guitar
Sherif – Bass
Ehab – Drums
