Since that autumn of 2018, when Alex, Beppe, and George first connected over their love of loud and fuzzy rock, they’ve come a long way. After the success of their debut EP »Black Hole Genesis«, which got traction on 666Mr.Doom’s channel, they’ve been building their name on the Greek heavy rock scene, sharing stages with bands like Nightstalker, Naxatras, and Void Droid. Now, they’re gearing up for the release of their full-length album »Riffs Of Ha«, and this new single takes their sound to a whole new level of heavy, experimental goodness.

Says the band: “This song marks the beginning of our creative journey for this LP, encapsulating the essence of our instrumental stoner rock style. With a perfect blend of crushing riffs and hypnotic, intricate passages, it pushes the boundaries of psychedelic instrumental music. Designed for the live stage, this track immerses listeners in a dynamic sonic landscape, creating a visceral experience that demands attention. It’s not just a song—it’s an invitation to explore new realms of sound, and it sets the tone for the energy we bring to every live performance.

»Umbra Planetae« is ideal for playlists featuring heavy, atmospheric, and experimental instrumental music.”

Tidal Shock are an up-and-coming band of Greek musicians, born and raised within the acclaimed local heavy rock/doom/groove scene. With a solid debut album already under their belt, the instrumental trio has earned a loyal fanbase from their time touring alongside top local acts. Now based in Luxembourg, the band is set on expanding their reach through extensive touring.

Their upcoming album, »Riffs Of Ha«, is a prime example of straightforward, versatile heavy rock, packed with memorable twists, agile songwriting, and fierce delivery.

During the pandemic, Tidal Shock relocated to Luxembourg, performed at festivals alongside 1000mods, and spent their time refining their sound for their upcoming full-length release. Now, »Riffs Of Ha« is fully realized, showcasing the band’s growing experimental edge and setting the stage for their next chapter.
