Paris, France based grunge/doom rock trio Fátima has unveiled a music video for the track »Raining Bricks« off their new split 7″ EP with Canadian sludge metal band Seum, on which both bands are covering each other’s songs.
The split is available now on Bandcamp with physical release coming out in early 2021. The vinyl will include a handmade cover opening with a 3D pop-up made by the comic artist Gorka Uztarroz. All purchases will also include a 30 pages PDF zine explaining the conception of this split (art, recording, writing).
»Raining Bricks« was recorded by Fátima at Basement Studio, Paris in November 2020.
Fátima loves oriental melodies, doom metal, 60’s monster movies, gross cartoons from the 90’s, dinosaurs and bacalhau à brás.
Born in 2015 in the boring suburbs of Paris, where no one listens to anything but “French variété” and reggae dance hall, the band sounds like a gangbang between Nirvana, Melvins, Electric Wizard, The Cure, Satan’s Satyrs and the »Lawrence Of Arabia« movie score.
The band self-released its debut album called »Moaner« in march 2018, and their second album »Turkish Delights« on April 10th, 2020 via Musikoeye.
