Formed in 2025, the misanthropic metal collective Concrete Ghosts announces their debut record, a project serving as a “sonic witness” to the terminal decay of the psyche. Standing at the center of human-made horror, Concrete Ghosts documents the slow-motion erosion of the human mind within modern structures.
The band, featuring members T. Honkanen (Guitars), E. Keränen (Vocals), H. Hyytiäinen (Bass/Clean Vocals), and N. Pennanen (Drums), translates the crushing weight of isolation into a unique blend of raw aggression and layered, melancholic atmosphere.
The record’s thematic landscape is a “concrete coffin” filled with “ashen whispers” and “nauseating chemical fumes of false hope”. Heavily inspired by the melodic intensity of the late-90s metal underground, the production offers a bleak, chromatic view of a world whose spirit is failing in real-time.
