Uswa was founded in the autumn of 2015, when five musicians decided to share their ideas for a new project. They found out that they share the same passion for a certain kind of music and in the rehearsal room at the womb of the old Uspenski cathedral new songs took shape little by little. Uswa plays atmospheric doom metal with influences from folk and post-rock. In its atmosphere Uswa walks through a haunted and misty forest that has echoes from longing, despair and sorrow.

Says the band: “The long wait is over and the new Uswa release »Aion« is finally out! The 4 track album can be found on most of the streaming platforms. The album was recorded during the pandemic years in our rehearsal ”cave” in Helsinki. It is completly recorded, mixed and mastered by the band.”
